Elnic deposits range from low to 12% (high) phosphorus. The latter is extensively specified by the oil industries to take advantage of electroless nickel corrosion resistance. Elnic systems also include systems containing boron (for electronic applications) or Teflon (to reduce coefficient of friction).

NiKlad ELV 811 | 10 - 12% P | NiKlad ELV 811 provides an excellent corrosion resistant coating, good deposit hardness and wear resistance. Designed to resist strong oxidising conditions by incorporating tin into the electroless plated coating. It can be operated without ammonia.
NiKlad ELV 811is free of lead and cadmium additives and therefore conforms to ELV, WEEE and ROHS regulations. Meets the performance requirements of GMW 3059, Ford WSS-M99P9999-A1, WSD-M1P65B1 & B2, Chrysler CS9003, AMS 26074, AMS 2404, ASTM B-733 and ISO 4527. |
NiKlad ELV 812 | 8 - 10%P | NiKlad 812 is designed to resist strong oxidising conditions by incorporating tin into an amorphous, non-magnetic electroless nickel coating. Resistant to corrosion and to crystallization at temperatures up to 320ºC for one hour. The compressively stressed deposit also has good ductility, solderability, wetting of brazing alloys and exceptionally high magnetic transition temperature.
NiKlad ELV 812 is free of lead and cadmium additives and therefore conforms to ELV, WEEE and ROHS regulations. It is particularly suited for protecting aluminium substrates and meets similar performance requirements to NiKlad ELv 811. |
NiKlad 1000 | 11 - 13% P | Compressively stressed deposits with the highest level of electroless nickel plating corrosion protection and non-magnetic deposit properties. Particularly suitable for the aircraft, aerospace and memory disk industries, it can also be used where good shelf life solderability is required. NiKlad 1000 can be operated without ammonia. |
Vand-Aloy 4200 | 10 - 12% P | High speed bath with a long service life. It is best suited for use in anodically protected stainless steel and conventional polyproplyene equipment. Vand-Aloy 4200 electroless plating process is tolerant of many impurities and suited for those production facilities where maximum throughput and quality is required. The system can be operated without ammonia. |

NiKlad 797 | 3.5 - 4.5% P | Very bright, fast bath for high production applications. Very hard as plated. The system will initiate plating at 70oC (160oF) and is ideal for those specialized applications where lower temperature operation is beneficial. |
NiKlad ELV 808 | 7 - 9% P | EDTA, lead and cadmium-free electroless plating process. NiKlad 808 conforms to ELV, WEEE and ROHS regulations. The bright corrosion resistant deposit provides very good wear resistance. NiKlad ELV 808 can be operated without ammonia. |
NiKlad ELV 835 | 4 - 7%P | Free from lead, cadmium or other ‘intentionally added metals’ to be compliant with WEEE, RoHS, ELV directives and NSF 051. It is a very high speed electroless plating process that combines a high hardness and wear resistance coating with good electroless nickel corrosion resistance. |
NiKlad ELV 849 | 7 - 9%P | Outstanding brightness, lead and cadmium-free, NiKlad ELV 849 conforms to ELV, WEEE and ROHS directives. NiKlad 849 provides very good deposit brightness, hardness and wear resistance with a good level of corrosion resistance for an electroless plating coating. |
